Performance apps are up!! You can download your copy and send it in. I highly recommend reading it before you send it in. Even make a copy of it for your records... Leslie Dunn is our Entertainment Chair. She is known as LSD here on Tribe. She will be the one to direct all of your questions to. Her contact information, as well as the performer application can be found on the newly updated www.tribalcafe.info I even fixed some incorrect links!
We are also proud to announce the premier of Tribal Style: Becoming a Belly Dancer at Tribal Cafe. Thursday, August 16, 2007 we will have a formal premier party and the first public screening of this documentary by Cortney Armitage!!! If you can't make Thursday's premier, DVD's of the film will also be available at Tribal Cafe.
We'll be updating the website with an area map and some other helpful goodies in the next coupla weeks. Stay tuned.

Fri, March 23, 2007 - 10:24 AMUGH! Another reason to be super bummed over missing Tribal Cafe.
We're going to San Francisco the weekend before, for a friend's wedding... and we'll barely be able to scrounge up the money for that. No way could I go back, or make an extended stay, as much as I'd love to.
I'll just wear my t-shirt that day, in support of ya'll! -

I HATE that the good stuff for dancers always seems to be when I have an inservice or otherwise can't get off work without finding a sub and taking some personal days, etc. Why can't some good stuff happen in the SUMMER????? -

Thu, July 26, 2007 - 9:15 AMI teach Kindergarten. Luckily my district is still on a traditional schedule so we start our meetings at the very end of August and the kids come back September 6th. The down side to that is that we get out late in the year. This year June 22 was our last day ouch!!! They keep threatening to go to modified traditional, (sounds like what you guys are on), but haven’t yet. I actually prefer that schedule. But it would cut into my Tribal Café and other summer show times. L I know I gotta think of the greater good. -

I guess I'm going to have to take some personal days (I've been there 13 years so I am due!) to go to stuff, at some point! Hehehe
